The auricle blood supply is mainly from the external carotid artery . In anterior auricle there is superficial temporal artery, which separaters into the upper, middle , and lower branches distributing at the upper, middle and lower auricle. While  the branch of posterior auricle artery also goes around the margin of auricle cartilage or penetrated the cartilage to spread in the anterior auricular artery , which also separates into upper , middle and lower branches, distributing in upper, middle and lower posterior auricle respectively . There are many communicating branches among the branches of the two arteries.
