 Dadu (SP 2) : Xing (Spring)  Point

[Location] On the medial aspect of the foot, in the depression anterior and inferior to  proximal metatarsodigital joint of the big toe, at the junction of the red and white skin.

[Needling and moxibustion Method]  Perpendicular insertion 0.3-0.5 cun; moxibution is applicable.

[Indications ] abdominal distention, gastric pain, dyspepsia, vomiting, diarrhea, conspetation, febrile disease without sweating, heavy body and swelling limbs, acute cardiac pain, insomnia, irritability.

[Common compatibility]  on

(1) diarrhea with spleen deficiency—with Yinglingquan, shangqiu.

(2) febrile disease without sweating—with Jingqu
