 Diji (SP 8) :Xi (cleft) Point

[Location] 3 cun below Yinlingquan, on the line connecting the tip of the medial malleolus and Yinlingquan.

[Needling and moxibustion Method] Perpendicular insertion 1.0~2.5 cun; moxibustion is applicable.

[Indications ] abdominal pain and distention, poor appetite, diarrhea, dysentery, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, spermatorrhea, uterus myoma, lumar pain, dysuria, oedema.

[Common compatibility]

(1) irregular menstruation—with Xuehai.

(2) dysmenorrheal—with Shenshu, Zhongji, Sanyinjiao.

(2) acute abdominal pain—with Liangqiu, Zhongwan.
