Erjian(LI2):xing.(spring) point

[ Location ]  When a loose first is made, this point is on the radial side of the index finger, in the depression distal to the metacarpo-phalangeal joint.

[ Needing and Moxibustion Method ] Perpendicular insertion 0.2~0.3 cun , Moxibustion is applicable.

[ Indications ] Sore throat, cheek swelling, nose bleeding, eye pain, yellowness of eye, toothache, dry mouth, pain and swelling of the joints in the index finger, facial distortion, pain in the arm, back, shoulder, purulent hematochezia, general fever, addict to sleep ,chilly shiver.

[ Common compatibility ]

(1)    sore throat, toothache-with Yuji, Hegu

(2)    eye nephelium—with Hegu
