Gongsun (SP 4) :Luo (Connecting) Point, and one of the Eight Confluent points, linking with Thoroughfare Vessel

[Location] On the medial aspect of the foot, in the depression distal of the base of the first metatarsal bone.

[Needling and moxibustion Method] Perpendicular insertion 0.5-1.0cun ; moxibustion is applicable.

[Indications ] Gastric pain, vomiting, dyspepsia, rugitus, abdominal distention, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, diarrhea, excessive drinking, cholera, bloody stools, oedema, irritability insomnia, manic disorder, sleepy.

[Common compatibility]

(1) gastric pain and distention— with Zhongwan, Zusanli.

(2) vomiting, dizziness—with fenglong, Taizhong, zhongkui.
