Kouheliao (LI19)

[Location] On  the upper lip, right below the lateral margin of the nostril, level with Shuigou.

[Needling and Moxibustion Method] Perpendicular insertion 0.3~0.5cun; moxibustion is applicable.

[Indications] nasal abscess, nasal polyp, epistaxis, nasal congestion, rhinorrhea with clear discharge, wry face, lockjaw.

[Common compatibility]

(1) wry face, lockjaw—-with Dichang, Xiache, Sibai, Yangbai.

(2) epistaxis—-with Duiduan, Laogong.
