Neiting (ST44): Xing (SPRING ) point

[Location]  on the dorsum of the foot, proximal to the web margin between the second and third toes, at the junction of the red and white skin.

[Needing and Moxibustion Method]

Oblique or perpendicular insertion 0.3~0.5 cun; moxibution is applicable.

[Indications]

Toothache , wry mouth, sore throat, nosal bleeding, abdominal pain and distention, diarrhea, dysentery, pain and swelling of the dorsum of the foot, febrile disease.

[Common compatibility]

(1)    gum pain and swelling—-with Hegu.

(2)    Febrile disease—with Taichong , Quchi, Dazhui.
