[Location] Anterior to the ear and to the condylicus, in the depression between the zygomatic arch and the condyloid process of the mandible.

[Needing and Moxibustion Method] perpendicular insertion0.3~0.5; when the needle is inserting, the mouth can not open; moxiibustion is applicable.

[Indications] toothache, facial pain, deafness, tinnitus, impaction of cerumen, trismus, facial distortion, dizziness.

[Common compatibility]

(1) temporomandibular arthritis—-with Tinggong, Yifeng, Hegu.

(2) trismus—-with Xiache, Hegu, Waiguan.

(3) tinnitus, deafness—-with Yangxi, Guanchong, Yemen, Yanggu.
