[Location] 0.5cn from the border of the ala nasi, in the nalolabial groove.

[Needling and Moxibustion Method] Perpendicular insertion 0.1~0.2cun of oblique insertion 0.3~0.5 cun; moxibustion is applicable.

[Indications] nasal congestion, anosmia, epistaxis, persistent turbid nasal discharge, nasal polyp, facial distortion, itching of the face, swelling of the face.

[Common compatibility]

(1) acute of chronic rhinitis—-with Yintang, Hegu.

(2) facial paralysis and spasm—-with Sibai, Dichang, Yangbai.

(3) ascariasis of biliary tract—-with Yanglingquan, Qiuxu.
