[ Location ] In the depression behind the (thenar eminence) root of the thumb (the first metacarpophlange) , about the midpoint of the palmar side of the first metacarpal bone, on the junction of the red and white skin.

[ Needing and Moxibustion Method ] Insert obliquely 0.5~0.8 cun ,Moxibution is applicable.

[ Indications ] sore throat, febrile disease, aphonia,cough, hemoptysis , asthma,children malnutritional stagnation.

(1)    cough, sore throat, hemoptysis—with Hegu

(2)    asthmatic attack—with Kongzui,Tiantu
